About Us
AMAC Action represents Americans over age 50 to advance policies that empower them to live longer, keep more of their hard-earned money, retire with dignity, and build a stronger America for future generations. We provide a vehicle for AMAC members to engage in grassroots advocacy to preserve our great American values of faith, family, and freedom.
What we do
AMAC Action and its volunteer advocates work to advance AMAC members’ influence in Washington, DC, in Congressional Districts, and state legislatures while serving as a valued resource for the membership, Congress, state leaders, and mature Americans throughout the nation. AMAC Action enables conservative Americans aged 50+ to become politically engaged and active in their community.

What we advocate for
Restore election integrity
- Promoting free, fair, and secure elections
- Opposing the federal takeover of elections
Defend our constitutional freedoms
- Advocating for first amendment freedoms of religious liberty and free speech, which have been under attack
Protect Parental rights
- Defending parents’ rights to know what their children are being taught in schools
- Safeguarding children from the radical Critical Race Theory and gender indoctrination in our schools
Ensure Social Security solvency
- Introduced the AMAC Social Security Guarantee to resolve the current insolvency and preserve this benefit for current and future generations
Deliver better healthcare
- Improve and expand healthcare price transparency
- Expand access to quality healthcare through the AMAC-inspired HEALTH Act
Save every human life—from the unborn to the elderly
- Protect the lives of mothers and their unborn babies
- Defend seniors against the growing movement of physician assisted suicide

Signature issues
H.R. 2986 – HEALTH Act (Helping Everyone Access Long Term Healthcare Act)
- Allows physicians to increase their Medicaid and CHIP-eligible patient populations by having the option to take a voluntary tax deduction in exchange for treating these patients at no charge
- The tax deduction is commensurate to the amount of the physician’s normal and customary fees
- Increases access to medical care by providing an alternative to costly hospital emergency rooms for primary care
- Reduces federal and state Medicaid and CHIP expenditures
Social Security Guarantee Act
- Guarantee an annual increase in benefits for all, with an emphasis on those with lower earnings to ensure the program stays true to its missions: keeping seniors out of poverty
- Guarantee achieving solvency and ensure benefits continue without automatic cuts
- Guarantee all earners the opportunity to create more income available at retirement through work and improved retirement savings programs
Addressing Drug Costs & Shortages
- Group purchasing organizations and pharmacy benefit managers are hospital supply and prescription drug supply chain middlemen who charge “rebates” to manufacturers and suppliers for access to their contracts
- These “rebates” are protected by a statute that makes this business practice legal, but this money negatively affects the cost of hospital supplies and in particular, the list cost of outpatient prescription drugs
- AMAC is working with a coalition of physician and patient advocates to remove the middleman money from the hospital and prescription drug supply chains
- Removal of this middleman money will drive down costs by many millions of dollars and open both the hospital and prescription drug supply chains to free-market competition and innovation
