Signature Issues

AMAC Action’s Signature Issues and Legislative Priorities are Driven by AMAC’s Members. Here are some of the things we are fighting for!

AMAC Action resolutely believes in the Constitution of the United States of America as the supreme law of the land, a timeless and ultimate guide to the conduct and course of our nation under God. The Constitution not only charts the path into the future for our country, but it codifies rights granted by God that every citizen may exercise via their individual liberty.

We vehemently support our rights to free speech and exercise of religious faith, and the protection of our right to bear arms to defend ourselves from crime and tyranny. We support the rule of law, and that the law can be amended when it is appropriate to do so. As a proponent of conservative ideology, we value the method described in the Constitution for the design of government and the necessary limitations placed upon it.

The Social Security Trust Fund’s insolvency is looming. The Old-Age and Survivors Insurance (OASI) retirement trust fund principal reserve would be exhausted in calendar year 2032 according to CBO estimates. At that point, incoming revenue will be insufficient to meet full beneficiary commitments, and by law the program will need to operate on a cash-in-cash-out basis. The result, according to most estimates, would be an across-the-board benefit reduction of between 20 percent and 25 percent for all recipients.

AMAC Action has been on the frontlines pressuring Congress to enact legislation to guarantee the solvency and benefits of Social Security without increases in the payroll tax. AMAC’s Social Security Guarantee model legislation is key in this effort. In addition, we support state and federal efforts to reduce or eliminate the taxing of Social Security benefits.

AMAC Action is working to return the impetus of healthcare to the physician-patient relationship and empower patients through choice, transparency, and free-market competition.

Our Specific Advocacy Efforts include:

  • Stopping federal price-fixing of prescription drugs
  • Reducing costs by exposing the anticompetitive business practices of healthcare middlemen – group purchasing organizations (GPO) and pharmacy benefit managers (PBM) – in the hospital and outpatient prescription drug supply chains
  • Stopping the Medicare-for-all scheme
  • Promoting hospital price transparency
  • Passing AMAC’s HEALTH Act to increase access to quality healthcare
Free and fair elections are critical to a sovereign nation. It should be easy to vote and hard to cheat. AMAC Action fights to strengthen the integrity of our elections through:

  • Common-sense State legislation
  • Blocking all federal election takeover efforts
  • Protecting vulnerable voters
  • Encouraging citizens to become involved in the election process
  • Encouraging conservatives to run for local office
  • Stopping tax-payer funding for third-party organizations seeking to influencing elections
  • Requiring proof of citizenship and identification to vote
  • Opposing Ranked Choice Voting

AMAC Action is fighting to stop out-of-control spending by the federal government, reduce the national debt, end excessive taxation, and stop intrusive regulations through common-sense approaches. The federal government should not excessively burden American taxpayers with increased taxes to advance their radical agenda. The federal government has failed to protect our Constitutional rights, has weakened our defense from foreign threats, and is not faithfully representing our citizenry in legislative proceedings, ignoring equal justice in the welfare of our nation. To borrow money to pay for wasteful spending is fiscally irresponsible and fails to honor the fiduciary responsibility and stewardship to the American taxpayer.

AMAC Action believes our citizenry is obliged only to pay for the core functions of government, that government spending should be commensurate with the same, and that increasing our national debt is unnecessary.

AMAC Action supports the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is tasked with making changes to the federal bureaucracy to rescind excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies.

AMAC Action supports moving away from annual deficit spending to a balanced federal budget so that the national debt can first be stabilized and then lowered.

As made clear in the Declaration of Independence, our founders recognized that all men are created equal which meant all the children of God, all people. All Americans are individuals; therefore, it is not a function of our educational system to impose corrupt beliefs to indoctrinate the young people of our nation. AMAC Action believes there exists no strata of race, or sex; that there are only two genders/sexes; and the color of one’s skin does not designate individuals as oppressors or oppressed. We believe in equality of opportunity not outcome. Critical Race Theory (CRT) has no place in our education system, communities, or businesses. While men and women of all races are created equal, science matters. Biological males should not be competing in female sports, nor do they belong in female locker rooms and restrooms.

The right to life is not only granted by God but codified in our Declaration of Independence. AMAC fights to protect the most vulnerable and defends the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. AMAC Action believes that an unborn baby retains his or her own sovereign rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and we boldly support efforts to ensure they may live and be welcomed as new Americans. Even in excruciatingly poignant situations, such as rape or incest, AMAC believes that the God-given rights of an unborn baby are just as legitimate and sacred as any other humans.
Sadly, in legislation to regulate rare occurrences to “protect the health of the mother”, the word “health” often lacks a hard definition and may well include vaguely defined terms referring to mental, social, or economic health as a matter of convenience.

Tax dollars should never be used for the practice of abortion. Providing education and alternatives to abortion such as assistance programs, and adoption are key in making abortion a footnote in American history. Supporting and preserving a precious human life is essential, vital, and a moral imperative.
America remains strong when its people define and protect what makes our nation unique. That’s why AMAC Action supports secure borders and a legal immigration process that welcomes those who seek to become part of our great country.

Inspired by the words on the Statue of Liberty, we believe in a legal path to citizenship and encourage everyone to take part in shaping our nation’s future. Securing our borders—physical, political, and cultural—is essential to preserving our sovereignty and values.
