AMAC Action’s Signature Issues and Legislative Priorities are Driven by AMAC’s Members. Here are some of the things we are fighting for!
We vehemently support our rights to free speech and exercise of religious faith, and the protection of our right to bear arms to defend ourselves from crime and tyranny. We support the rule of law, and that the law can be amended when it is appropriate to do so. As a proponent of conservative ideology, we value the method described in the Constitution for the design of government and the necessary limitations placed upon it.
AMAC Action has been on the frontlines pressuring Congress to enact legislation to guarantee the solvency and benefits of Social Security without increases in the payroll tax. AMAC’s Social Security Guarantee model legislation is key in this effort. In addition, we support state and federal efforts to reduce or eliminate the taxing of Social Security benefits.
AMAC Action is working to return the impetus of healthcare to the physician-patient relationship and empower patients through choice, transparency, and free-market competition.
Our Specific Advocacy Efforts include:
AMAC Action is fighting to stop out-of-control spending by the federal government, reduce the national debt, end excessive taxation, and stop intrusive regulations through common-sense approaches. The federal government should not excessively burden American taxpayers with increased taxes to advance their radical agenda. The federal government has failed to protect our Constitutional rights, has weakened our defense from foreign threats, and is not faithfully representing our citizenry in legislative proceedings, ignoring equal justice in the welfare of our nation. To borrow money to pay for wasteful spending is fiscally irresponsible and fails to honor the fiduciary responsibility and stewardship to the American taxpayer.
AMAC Action believes our citizenry is obliged only to pay for the core functions of government, that government spending should be commensurate with the same, and that increasing our national debt is unnecessary.
AMAC Action supports the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is tasked with making changes to the federal bureaucracy to rescind excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies.
AMAC Action supports moving away from annual deficit spending to a balanced federal budget so that the national debt can first be stabilized and then lowered.
As made clear in the Declaration of Independence, our founders recognized that all men are created equal which meant all the children of God, all people. All Americans are individuals; therefore, it is not a function of our educational system to impose corrupt beliefs to indoctrinate the young people of our nation. AMAC Action believes there exists no strata of race, or sex; that there are only two genders/sexes; and the color of one’s skin does not designate individuals as oppressors or oppressed. We believe in equality of opportunity not outcome. Critical Race Theory (CRT) has no place in our education system, communities, or businesses. While men and women of all races are created equal, science matters. Biological males should not be competing in female sports, nor do they belong in female locker rooms and restrooms.
Inspired by the words on the Statue of Liberty, we believe in a legal path to citizenship and encourage everyone to take part in shaping our nation’s future. Securing our borders—physical, political, and cultural—is essential to preserving our sovereignty and values.
AMAC Action works to promote conservative policies and legislation that complement our mission and leverages the engagement of hundreds of thousands of grassroots advocates within the AMAC membership. With your help, we’ve been able to accomplish more each year. We encourage you to read these reports to learn how AMAC Action secures advocacy victories on behalf of the membership and amplifies the voice of conservatives.
